Aluminium decking and railings for Simpson Bay
Life in Simpson Bay happens on the water — and the water is exactly what destroys most terraces here. Aluminium does not rust and cannot rot, which is why it belongs on the largest lagoon in the Lesser Antilles.

The lagoon is beautiful — and merciless on timber
Between the lagoon on one side and the sea at Kim Sha Beach on the other, Simpson Bay and Pelican Key sit in permanent humidity. Timber decking here swells, greys and rots on a schedule you can practically set your watch by; steel fixings streak rust within a couple of seasons.
Aluminium behaves differently because the two failure modes simply do not apply: it does not rust, and it cannot rot. Our boards carry Qualicoat-certified powder coating, every fixing is stainless steel, and maintenance comes down to rinsing off the salt with clean water.

What we build around Simpson Bay
The projects we quote in this part of the island are shaped by the waterfront: terraces that step down toward a dock, pool surrounds that stay grippy when wet, and railings that frame the view instead of blocking it.
- Waterfront and pool-deck boards with an anti-slip surface that keeps its grip when wet
- AERIS full-height glass railings for lagoon and sunset views — aluminium frame, stainless fixings
- Bioclimatic pergolas that close against a squall in seconds, wind-certified 160–180 or 180–220 km/h
- Wood-look finishes that suit the marina-village feel without the sanding and oiling
How pricing works
One final figure, in writing
Our rate card is the same across the Caribbean: decking 450–550 € per m² installed, pergola structures 550–650 € per m², railings from 255 € per linear metre — as French West Indies reference prices. Because Sint Maarten sits outside the French legal and tax framework, shipping, customs clearance and any local taxes are additional and itemised on your quote, and the warranty terms applying to your project are stated in writing before you commit.
We are a French West Indies manufacturer — workshops in Saint-François (Guadeloupe) and Les Trois-Îlets (Martinique) — not a local Sint Maarten office, and we would rather say so plainly. What you get is made-to-measure manufacturing, installation, and every cost on paper before you decide.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you install around the Simpson Bay lagoon?
We quote projects across Simpson Bay, Pelican Key, Billy Folly and Cole Bay waterfront on request. Everything is manufactured in our Guadeloupe and Martinique workshops and shipped over, with freight, customs clearance and any local taxes itemised on your written quote.
Is aluminium decking safe around a pool?
Yes — the board surface is anti-slip and keeps its grip when wet, and the material is not porous, so algae and mould do not take hold. Chlorine and permanent humidity do not affect it.
What does it cost?
Our reference price for installed aluminium decking is 450 to 550 € per m² in the French West Indies. For Simpson Bay, shipping and locally applicable taxes are added transparently on the quote, so you see one final figure before you commit.
