What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under the GDPR.
This English text is provided for convenience. GT MAT Caraïbes is a French company and these terms are governed by French law: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version is the legally binding one.
Who is responsible for your data
SASU GT MAT (SIRET 939 569 513 00012), registered office Bien Désiré, 97118 Saint-François, Guadeloupe, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What we collect and why
We only collect what we need to answer you and prepare your quote. Filling in a form is always voluntary.
- Quote and contact forms: name, email, phone number, project location, approximate area and your message — used solely to prepare and send your quote.
- Pergola configurator and price estimator: the technical details you enter, used to produce your estimate.
- Audience measurement: anonymised usage statistics, and only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
Legal basis
Processing your quote request is based on the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR). Audience measurement is based on your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests without a follow-up order: 3 years from the last contact.
- Client records: for the duration of the commercial relationship, plus the statutory retention periods that apply to us.
- Cookie consent choices: 6 months.
Who sees your data
Your data is never sold and never rented. It is accessible to the GT MAT team handling your request, and to the technical providers strictly necessary to operate the site: Vercel (hosting) and Resend (transactional email delivery).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@gtmatcaraibes.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
