100% of GT MAT products are born in our own design office. That is our difference — and your guarantee of genuine made-to-measure.
Why design everything ourselves?
Most market players resell imported products drawn for continental Europe. Under the Caribbean climate — salt, intense UV, permanent humidity, the cyclone season — those products quickly show their limits: undersized sections, unsuitable fasteners, finishes that age badly.
We made the opposite choice: to design everything ourselves. Every profile, every assembly, every finish of our decking, pergolas and railings is drawn by our own R&D for the real constraints of our islands. Our partner factory then produces to our drawings, under our control — and our teams install, in Guadeloupe as in Martinique.
This short circuit has a direct consequence for you: when you call GT MAT, you talk to the people who designed the product. Not to a reseller reading a data sheet.
From idea to your terrace

Research & drawing
Our design office draws every profile and every assembly: sections, ribs, fixing systems. The specification is Caribbean from the very first line — sea spray, UV, strong winds.

Prototype & validation
Every product is prototyped and put to the test before joining the range: board adjustments, assembly trials, finish selection. Nothing is sold without passing through our hands.

Production to our drawings
Our partner factory produces exclusively to our drawings and requirements: Qualicoat-certified powder coating, stainless-steel fasteners, tolerance control. The design remains 100% GT MAT.

Installation by our teams
Our teams install from our two bases, in Saint-François (Guadeloupe) and Les Trois-Îlets (Martinique), with organised freight to Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten. One contact, from first sketch to final bolt.
The proof: the NEODECK board
The NEODECK decking board sums up our method: a 174 × 25 mm section drawn by our R&D, an anti-slip grooved surface, internal ribs that stiffen the board, and an invisible clip-on rail that speeds up installation and lets one board be removed without touching the others.
This profile exists nowhere else: it is ours. You can handle it in 3D, exactly as it is produced, on the decking page.

Ten-year warranty
Our installations in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy are covered by the French ten-year warranty.
